I stopped into Jo-Ann’s this past month and it wasn’t even to buy anything. I have a (cosmetics) bag that I keep all my discount cards in. One day I had some free time on my hands and actually alphabetized the discount cards. I’m glad I did that because it sure beats having people in the checkout line behind you look at you with malice. I went into Jo-Ann’s to get my new discount card. What I noticed was that Jo-Ann’s now offers at 15% discount which is up from their last discount of 10%. That is great news for homeschoolers! And when you get your new card, you are also given a Bonus Coupon of 20% off total purchase — a one-time deal. Cool!
For those of you who do not have a Jo-Ann’s Teacher Rewards card, all you need to do is this: Take your homeschool id with you, go to the service desk, ask for Jo-Ann’s Teacher Rewards card. If you do not have a homeschool id, you can print your own using a word processing program, spreadsheet program, photo editing software, etc.
You do not need to join any business to receive your card in-store. If you do not have a card from last year, bring along other information such as your homeschool support group membership card, the cover of a homeschool publication showing your subscription information, you could also bring your other educator discount cards — which are probably already in your wallet anyway
