Shipwrecks Unit Study

Shipwrecks Unit Study explores famous maritime disasters, nautical terminology, and underwater archaeology through free and low-cost books, videos, games, worksheets, and hands-on activities. Discover how shipwrecks have influenced history, science, and exploration across the globe.

While this unit explores a wide range of maritime disasters, in-depth studies of the Titanic and Edmund Fitzgerald are being developed as separate units.

The unit is suitable for grades K–12, with flexibility to adapt based on your learners’ ages and abilities. Please preview links and activities to ensure they are appropriate for your family. New resources will be added as time allows.

Learning Objectives
