Auditions Open for Detroit Opera Youth Chorus 2025–26 Season

The Detroit Opera Youth Chorus is holding auditions on June 9 and 23 for the upcoming 2025–2026 season. Singers ages 8 through high school seniors are invited to audition. Rehearsals take place Monday evenings at the Detroit Opera House, beginning in September.

Highlights of next season include a performance of “Carmina Burana” with the DSO, the annual “A Winter Fantasy” concert, and Dean Burry’s youth opera “The Hobbit”, to be staged at the Detroit Opera House in April 2026.
