Barnes & Noble Summer Reading Program 2025

Kids in grades 1–6 can earn a free book by reading any eight books this summer. After completing their reading, they simply fill out the official Summer Reading Journal by writing a few sentences about their favorite part of each book.

Bring the completed journal to a Barnes & Noble store between July 1 and August 31, and your child can choose a free book from the list provided on the journal.
