Berry Lemon Ginger Green Smoothie – Bright & Refreshing Recipe

Berry Lemon Ginger Green Smoothie

This vibrant smoothie brings a burst of tart berries, a bright citrus twist, and just enough ginger to give it a gentle kick. It’s simple, bold, and great for mornings when you want something refreshing with a little edge.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup frozen berry mix (blueberry, blackberry, raspberry)
  • 1/2 lemon, peeled
  • 1″ fresh ginger, peeled
  • 3 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 big handful spinach
  • 1/2 cups water (adjust to your blender and desired consistency) – I used 1/2 coconut water and half regular water

Instructions:

  • Add all ingredients to your blender.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Adjust liquid as needed and enjoy!

Health Benefits

Mixed Berries (Blueberry, Blackberry, Raspberry): Packed with antioxidants that help fight oxidative stress and support heart health. They’re also rich in vitamin C and fiber for immune support and digestion.
Lemon: Brightens the flavor and adds a boost of vitamin C. It may also help support digestion and hydration.

Ginger: Naturally anti-inflammatory and great for digestion, especially when combined with citrus.

Chia Seeds: Loaded with fiber and plant-based omega-3s. They help support heart health and keep you feeling fuller longer.

Spinach: A nutrient-dense green that provides iron, calcium, and folate — all essential for energy and overall wellness.

Coconut Water: Offers natural electrolytes like potassium and magnesium, which support hydration and muscle function.

Flavor Profile:

Tart, earthy, and energizing — the lemon and ginger brighten the berries while spinach adds body without overpowering the taste.

Notes:

Chia seeds will thicken the smoothie if it sits — drink right away or shake before sipping.

Frozen berries make it cool and creamy without needing ice.

This smoothie came after the Berry Lemon Ginger Infused Water and led straight into the Berry Lemon Ginger Balsamic Vinaigrette — because good ingredients deserve to go the distance.
