Homeschool Fencing Class Livonia
La Salle d’Etroit, a Livonia fencing club, has put together a homeschool fencing class. Anyone who’s interested in fencing during the day should check this out.
Presently, there’s one class, once a week on Tuesdays from noon to 1:00 at their location, for advanced beginner fencers. Right now, there are six homeschoolers fencing in this class, ranging in age from 8 to 14. Kathy Miller pays $10 per week/per student for one hour of fencing. Then the kids can come back during any of the club’s open fencing hours and fence, sans instruction, with other fencers for only the $5 floor fee for as long as they’d like to stay and fence.
They are actively looking for more homeschoolers to join one of two classes. The first class is the advanced beginners class I described above. The basic requirement to join the existing class is that the person should have at least gone through beginning fencing classes prior to this.
The other class is for those interested with no experience at all. Coach Ben Schleis is looking to start this class for complete beginners. You do not need fencing equipment to be able to start fencing here. You just need loose-fitting clothing and tennis shoes. This class has no date and time yet. He’ll set it up to fit the needs of those interested.

You won’t find any of this information on their site, but it’s still worth checking it out.
