Native Plant Sale at Belle Isle Nature Center June 22, 2025
The Belle Isle Nature Center and Wild Ones of Wayne County invite the public to a Native Plant Sale on Saturday, June 22, from noon to 4 p.m. This event offers more than just the chance to purchase plants — it’s a full afternoon of learning, discovery, and community connection.
Designed with all ages in mind, the event includes family-friendly activities, educational displays, and plenty of opportunities to explore how native plants support Michigan’s environment. Shoppers can browse a diverse selection of native plants and pollinator-friendly trees, all well-suited to the metro Detroit region and beneficial to bees, butterflies, and birds.
In addition to the plant sale, visitors can enjoy:
- Hands-on educational activities
- Nature crafts for kids
- Expert gardening advice
- Conservation conversations with local enthusiasts
Admission is free, and each purchase directly supports local biodiversity efforts. Whether new to gardening or a seasoned native plant advocate, attendees will find inspiration and resources to help their green spaces thrive.
