Pewabic Joins April Free Craft Sundays at AANM
It’s one of the Arab American National Museum’s most popular programs, and it’s back for spring! Free Craft Sundays return April 6, 13, 20 and 27 for kids ages 6 to 12. Pewabic Pottery comes to the AANM on April 6 and 20 for a ceramics activity. On April 13, kids will create and decorate small rugs made from canvas, and on April 27, they’ll craft traditional Arabic lanterns. The sessions run 2-4 p.m.; capacity is limited to 25 children, and all must be accompanied by an adult in order to participate. No advance registration required; call Cynatt Ali at 313-624-0216 with questions. Museum admission is free for all on Sundays, so bring the whole family.
The Arab American National Museum is located at 13624 Michigan Avenue, Dearborn, MI 48126
