Summer Arts Camp

Jackie Eberle jackeeolyn@comcast.net is offering Summer Art Camps this year at First Baptist Church of Rochester with one new event that may interest you or a friend. In addition to the “Kids Art Camps” they are planning the first ever “Mom’s Art Camp!”

A $20.00 deposit is needed for the Mom’s camp by June 9th and the balance can be paid at the door on the first day. Each of the “Kids Camps” require a $20.00 deposit one week ahead. Please note that the classes are limited to 15 students. A second Mom’s Camp can be added on the same dates if there are at least 3 Mom’s interested for 12:00pm – 4:00pm

Mom’s Art Camp June 16 – June 20 9:00am – 1:00pm

9:00am Painting begins (coffee, and morning snack will be served by their caterer)
12:00pm Lunch is served! (A special lunch will be prepared by their caterer in the Fireside Room – guests are welcome to attend the meal for $5.00 each)
12:45pm Devotional/Inspirational speaker
1:00pm Time to go home (Refreshed and eager to return the next day.)

They will complete one landscape painting on a 16×20 inch canvas – no experience is necessary!

Cost: Tuition: $125.00 per person (includes lunch and morning snack each day)
Supply Fee: $20.00 (includes canvas, use of brushes, paint, easels, and all other supplies)
Please wear paint clothes.

Total cost for the week is $145.00

Kids Art Camp, 3rd – 6th grade June 23 – June 27 9:00am – 12:00pm
Kids Art Camp, 3rd – 6th grade July 7 – July 11 9:00am – 12:00pm
Kids Art Camp, 7th – 12th grade June 23 – 27 or July 7 – 11 1:00pm – 4:00pm</p>

9:00am – 10:00am Paint on Canvas
10:00am – 10:45am Special Project
10:45am- 11:45am Devotional Time
11:45am – 12:00pm Clean up and time to go home

They will complete one 16×20 inch painting on canvas, along with one pencil drawing, pen and ink project, Wooden project, and as time allows one or two other projects.

Total Cost for the week: $120.00 (includes all materials)

Please have your child wear a paint shirt.
