Banana Cinnamon Protein Green Smoothie Bowl
Trader Joe’s spices. I like them. I have some of them. I am terrible about using them. Sometimes when I’m doing my inventory to get ready for meal planning, I don’t even remember to write them down. For the time being, they are sitting atop my microwave. They are in my way in the kitchen. By being my travel path, it should make me use them. So today I unwrapped the cinnamon and made this smoothie bowl.
I use a high speed blender, a Vitamix 5200
SunWarrior Vanilla Protein Powder has healthy ingredients for me as I am not a fan of whey.
This gem I found on clearance at Kroger the other day, Carlos Grain Free Blueberry Walnut Granola. This granola is gluten free. Check their website‘s FAQ page. I could not tell you why Kroger had it on clearance. It’s not close to the expiration date. A juice shop I like uses Carlo’s Grain-Free Granola. It’s very good.

This looks like a really interesting recipe. I like that the granola is gluten free and grain free, too. It makes watching my diet much more fun where there are recipes like this to go to for something yummy to eat.

I do like that there are many options for those who eat, or try their best to eat, gluten free. It would be awesome if the food industry would come down in price though. When I was at the farmers market on Saturday, there was a seller’s table setup and besides a very lovely juice (watermelon juice!) he had power balls. The one I got was made with a gluten free & grain free granola. I’m saving the ingredients off the packaging and will try to recreate my own version.

Jodi, this combination sounds great! You’re using all ingredients from my favorite foods list! And what beautiful skin we will all have if we do this every morning.

Thanks Kebba! Even though I had a second bowl, they were all clean ingredients. So, cheating without cheating? Lol!
