Berry Protein Acai Bowl
This sweet and creamy Berry Protein Acai Bowl is the final bowl of this month. It has been a fantastic experience for me. I hope you have learned a few tips and got creative making your own smoothie bowls and acai bowls.
The base starts with acai, rich in antioxidants like anthocyanins that help reduce inflammation and protect cells. Blueberries add powerful antioxidants and vitamin C, while strawberries bring in additional vitamins and fiber. The protein powder ups the protein content, essential for muscle repair and satiety, and includes the unique benefit of amino acids for overall health. Goji berry powder adds vitamins A and C, along with essential minerals like iron and zinc. Aloe vera juice provides hydration and supports digestion. The topping of blueberries, shredded coconut, and granola brings extra fiber, healthy fats, and crunch, making this bowl not only nutritious but also delicious.

Reflections on this Month
This month has been a rewarding exploration into the world of smoothie bowls. By cutting down on coffee and processed sugar, I’ve noticed some changes in my energy levels and overall well-being. For example, after overindulging in caffeine yesterday, I felt unusually tired—an important reminder of the impact that dietary choices can have on daily life.
As I close out this challenge, I’m excited to incorporate these healthy habits into my routine going forward. I hope this recipe inspires you to create your own delicious and nutritious smoothie bowls.
Thank you for joining me on this smoothie bowl journey! I’d love to hear about your favorite recipes and experiences from this month.

It is in the freezer section. I found it both at Trader Joe’s and Fresh Thyme. They each cost roughly the same, about $4. I was just in Kroger and their price was $8.99! Same quantity. I am not sure if SunWarrior is the same as Sun Rider. I’ve never heard of them. SunWarrior is a brand I believe in. Plant-based, vegan. I’ve been using their products for years. I took today off from making a smoothie bowl. I made a smoothie instead.

Jodi, oh ho! When I saw the lovely purple colors of your smoothie bowl for today, I idly wondered about where you can get acai, other than as juice, usually blends. But I see from your ingredient list that Trader Joe has a packet– is that shelf-stable, or frozen, or…? Here, it is summer berry season, so we are blessed to have most of these ingredients available fresh, with all the vital life force energy those offer. Is Sun Warrior related to SunRider, a company I knew decades ago? Thanks for another delicious recipe.
