Cantaloupe Green Juice and Peppers
Today’s breakfast juice: 1 cantaloupe, 2 pears, 1 yellow apple, 1 cucumber, 3-4 stalks kale, 4 leaves lettuce. It made over 4 cups of juice. Delish!

All the fruit and vegetables were purchased at a local farm market. The nearest grocery store’s produce is always iffy bordering on I’d rather not buy it if I don’t have to.
That same trip to the farm stand, I bought some peppers. Peppers that taste how I remember them from my mother’s garden – like peppers. I could buy 10 at the grocery store and the taste wouldn’t come close. I seem to find that in all produce at the farm stand vs grocery store. It is also less expensive at the farm stand and you’re helping a local business. The farm stand, Irma’s Farm Stand has been around as long as I can remember. Right next door is another – Kathy’s Produce. The only downside to these two places is that they are not open year-round.

This is my Day 2 of 31 Days of Juicing. It is part of the #write31days challenge. To read all the posts, come back to the first page where I’ll link up after I’ve posted.
