Cherry Mango Power Smoothie Bowl
Ingredients:
- For the Smoothie Base:
- 2 cups spinach and kale, packed
- 3/4 cup frozen cauliflower
- 3/4 cup frozen strawberries
- 3/4 cup frozen mango
- 3/4 cup frozen cherries
- 1 scoop SunWarrior Warrior Blend Vanilla Protein Powder
- 1 teaspoon SunWarrior Beet Root Powder
- 1 teaspoon Navitas Organic Keto Cacao Powder
- 1 teaspoon SunWarrior Matcha Powder
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- For the Toppings:
- Sliced cherries
- Coconut, Unsweetened and Shredded
- Carlo’s Grain Free Gluten-Free Blueberry Walnut Granola
- Almonds
- Pistachios
- Almond drizzle
Instructions:
- Blend the Base:
- Combine the spinach and kale, frozen cauliflower, strawberries, mango, cherries, and almond milk in a blender. Add the vanilla protein powder, beet root powder, cacao powder, and matcha powder. Use a tamper or spatula to mix the powders into the smoothie base to avoid a cloud of powder. Blend until smooth and creamy. You should have 4 smooth peaks forming. Adjust the consistency with more almond milk if needed.
- Add the vanilla protein powder, beet root powder, cacao powder, and matcha powder. I usually use the tamper or a spatula to push the powders into the smoothie base so there isn’t a cloud of powder that comes up through the lid after you turn the Vitamix back on.
- Blend until smooth and creamy. If needed, adjust the consistency with additional almond milk.
- Plate:
- Pour the smoothie base into a bowl.
- Garnish with sliced cherries, coconut flakes, granola, almonds, and pistachios.
- Drizzle with almond butter for an extra touch of flavor.
- Enjoy:
- Mix and enjoy your nutrient-packed, flavor-packed smoothie bowl!
Equipment used: Vitamix 5200
Note: I hadn’t planned on using cherries initially, but after tasting the base, it needed an extra burst of flavor. The cherries added just the right touch to elevate the smoothie bowl. I also discovered that a squeeze bottle would be handy for drizzling. I’m excited to try this technique again, possibly thinning the almond butter with water or almond milk for a smoother drizzle.

Wow I never thought of adding frozen califlower to a smoothie. Great idea.

Hi Amanda, One thing I’ve learned about using cauliflower in smoothie bowls or drinkable smoothies is that it’s important to break the pieces down well if you’re freezing your own. I’ve tried both store-bought frozen cauliflower and fresh cauliflower that I broke apart and froze myself. I found that the store-bought version was much more manageable.

I like how you list the benefits of each ingredient and I love cauliflower, strawberries and cherries
Jodi
Thank you Martha. Cauliflower adds to the creaminess of the smoothie bowl and without overpowering the other flavors. It’s a subtle yet effective way to get in a cruciferous vegetable. I first heard of using cauliflower in drinkable smoothies from the Smoothie Solution Facebook Group https://www.facebook.com/groups/smoothieshred

Jodi, another blended recipe with beautiful toppings, and it sounds yummm! Btw, is this a single serving? It would be 2 servings for me. I love food made from these ingredients– they look beautiful, they taste good, and they serve us with vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and more! And the almond butter drizzle is great!
Jodi
Kebba, Yes, a single serving, and it was delicious. It was my breakfast, just enough for me. It could be divided into 2 servings if you have something else for breakfast as well.
