to the tune of Up On the Housetop

Please Mr. Groundhog hide, hide, hide
So winter soon will be bye bye.
Oh Mr. Sun please stay behind a cloud
There must be no shadow of the
big groundhog!

Groundhog Day

The groundhog saw his shadow
And said “It must be night.
I think I’ll go and sleep some more,
Six weeks will be just right.”
