Five Little Pumpkins
Five little pumpkins, sitting on a gate, (Hold up fingers for pumpkins)
The first one said βOh my! Itβs getting late!β
The second one said βThere are witches in the air!β
The third one said βBut we donβt care!β
The fourth one said βLetβs run and run and run!β
The fifth one said βItβs Halloween fun!β
Oooooooo went the wind,
And out went the lights. (Clap hands on the word βoutβ)
And the five little pumpkins rolled out of sight. (Roll hands)
The Witchesβ Spell
Double, double, toil and trouble;
Fire burn, and cauldron bubble.
Fillet of a fenny snake
In the cauldron boil and bake;
Eye of newt, and toe of frog,
Wool of bat, and tongue of dog,
Adderβs fork, and blind-wormβs sting,
Lizardβs leg and owletβs wing,
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth, boil and bubble.
Double, double, toil and trouble;
Fire burn, and cauldron bubble.
by William Shakespeare
Halloween Pumpkin
A pumpkin is orange
A pumpkin is round
A pumpkin grows big
On a vine on the ground.
But a Halloween pumpkin
With a smile and a light
Is a glad Jack-O-Lantern
On Halloween night.

Ready for Halloween
Pumpkins and all
big ones and small,
apples and pumpkins
and cornstalks in fallβ¦
Corn standing tall,
apples and all,
pumpkins to gather
and set on the wallβ¦
Cornstalks to lean,
yellow and green,
bright orange pumpkins
with apples betweenβ¦
Apples between,
shined to a sheen
everythingβs ready
to greet Halloween.

Itβs Halloween
While jack-o-lanterns grin and glow,
Black cats prowl and bats fly low,
And witches call from their broomstick flight
Itβs Halloween tonight, tonight!
While jack-o-lanterns show their faces
Ghosts are gathered in darksome places
And goblins chant β though they canβt be seen
Itβs Halloween! Itβs Halloween!
