Ingredients

  • 2 cups spinach, kale, chard
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen mango
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen pineapple
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 cup aloe vera juice
  • 3 inches ginger
  • 3 Tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 1/3 scoop SunWarrior Shape Slim Collagen Boost Beauty & Slimming Formula (Red Velvet Cupcake flavor)

Toppings

  • coconut flakes
  • Carlo's Grain Free Blueberry Walnut Granola
  • freeze-dried mango

Notes

Thoughts:
I should have cut the freeze-dried mango in half or thirds as the pieces were too big.
This was quite good. I have not used aloe vera juice before and wasn't sure of the taste, so I kept the amount to a minimum.

That sounds so healthy, Jodi! It reminds me of my favorite fruit juice, which has pineapple and some mango in it. I used to drink lots of smoothies when I was younger, but I don’t think I’ve tried a smoothie bowl yet. Now, I’m off to check out your strawberry shortcake smoothie bowl post.

Thank you, Jeanine! Your favorite fruit juice sounds delicious—I love pineapple and mango together too. Smoothie bowls are a fun twist on traditional smoothies, especially with toppings like fresh fruits and nuts. What was your go-to smoothie when you were younger?

I’m not sure how it would taste without the greens but still using the aloe vera juice. Have you experimented with aloe vera juice, Tamara?
