Peanut Butter Apple Green Smoothie

A simple green smoothie made with frozen spinach, apple, banana, and a creamy nut butter base. It’s an easy way to get more greens into your day.
 

Ingredients:

  • Ice cubes
  • Frozen spinach
  • 1/3 cucumber
  • 1 whole apple
  • 1/3 banana
  • 1 dollop yogurt
  • 2 dollops peanut butter

It was delicious! Don’t let the coffee mug fool you—it’s a big one, approximately 4 inches tall.
 
2019 Update:
These days I skip the dairy yogurt and use almond milk or water instead. I also swap peanut butter for almond butter—something I started doing after joining Dr. Goldner’s Facebook group in late 2018 and learning more about anti-inflammatory choices.
