Robotics Class

Information for two robotics classes being offered during the club portion of Faith Hometeam in Waterford. Participation in the afternoon co-op classes is not required to enroll in either of the robotic classes. Please forward to other homeschool families.

Beginning Robotics – This is an introductory class to explore the basics of robotic programming using the Lego RCX robot and Robolab 2.9. Students will learn basic programming and commands will be introduced to use various sensors. Cost $40 Grades 4-8, Cost $40

Advance Lego Robotics – Prerequisite: Beginning/Intro Lego Robotics This class will continue to build on robotic programming using the NXT 2.1 software and the NXT robot. The class will focus on preparing those students who are interested (but not required) in competing in the Robo Fest competition held this winter and is sponsored by Lawrence Technological University. If your child has robotics experience and has not taken the beginning robotics, but would like to enroll in this class they may. Grades 5-12, Cost $40
