Strawberry and Salted Caramel Smoothie Bowl

Dinner was a slightly different version of my Strawberries and Cream Smoothie Bowl, and I wanted to share it with you. This time, I combined the vibrant flavors of strawberries with a hint of salted caramel, and let me tell you, I really liked it.

The Ingredients

Here’s what you’ll need for this delightful bowl:

Why I Like This Combo

The fusion of strawberry and salted caramel is simply irresistible. The natural sweetness of the strawberries pairs nicely with the rich, buttery notes of the salted caramel, creating a smooth and satisfying flavor profile. Plus, each ingredient brings its own nutritional benefits to the table, which makes it even better.

Nutritional Highlights

  1. Frozen Strawberries: These are packed with vitamin C and antioxidants. They’re not just delicious; they help support your immune system and skin health.
  2. Goji Berry Powder: This superfood adds a nutrient boost. It’s rich in vitamins A and C and is known for its potential benefits for eye health and mood enhancement.
  3. Turmeric: A powerful anti-inflammatory spice, turmeric can contribute to overall wellness. Just a teaspoon can help reduce inflammation and support joint health.
  4. Salted Caramel Collagen Powder: This adds both flavor and protein. Collagen supports skin, hair, nails, and joint health—perfect for anyone looking to maintain their youthful glow.
  5. Coconut Cream and Coconut Milk: These not only provide a creamy texture but also healthy fats that can help with energy and absorption of nutrients.

Making Your Smoothie Bowl

To make this delicious smoothie bowl, simply blend all the ingredients together until smooth and creamy. Pour it into a bowl and get creative with your toppings! Fresh fruit, nuts, seeds, or a sprinkle of granola can add extra flavor and texture. As mine was for dinner, I poured the base into the container and did not put the toppings on until I was ready to eat. I topped my smoothie bowl slivered almonds, coconut chips, and freeze-dried strawberries. I used Ello Duraglass Meal Prep Container to hold the smoothie base. I do not have access to a refrigerator at work so I just packed that with a couple of ice packs and the container fits perfectly in my eBags Crew Cooler II lunch bag.

Final Thoughts

This Strawberry and Salted Caramel Smoothie Bowl has quickly become a top bowl of mine that I want to make more of. I love strawberries, and the salted caramel collagen powder is a great addition. The coconut cream brings them together in a nice sweet and salty balance. If you’re a fan of the strawberry-caramel combination, I highly recommend giving this a try!
