ASTC Passport Program

Save on Science Museums with the ASTC Passport Program

If you’re planning family trips or just want to explore more museums throughout the year, the Association of Science and Technology Centers ASTC Passport Program is a great option to know about.

When you purchase a membership at a participating ASTC science center or museum, you automatically receive access to the Passport Program. It lets you visit other participating locations for free general admission—which can add up to huge savings, especially for homeschoolers who love field trips.

To use it:

  • Buy a membership at a participating museum.
  • Use your membership card to visit other Passport Program locations.
  • Free admission applies when visiting sites outside a 90-mile radius of both your home address and your home museum.

Keep in mind:
Free admission usually covers permanent exhibits, but special shows (like planetarium shows, IMAX films, or traveling exhibits) might cost extra. Some museums also have their own local rules, so it’s a good idea to check before you visit.
