Poems for March

March Wind

Oh, March wind,
Please blow my kite
Up and away
To a lofty height!
Oh, March wind,
You blow through the trees,
And I watch the shaking
Of all the little leaves!

St. Patrick’s Day Poem

St. Patrick’s Day comes
On March 17,
With leprechauns, shamrocks,
And wearing lots of green!

St. Patrick’s Day Crafts

We love Irish potatoes. Cut potato from brown paper. Put on black dots. Use as part of picture person, house, part of dinosaur, car, animal, spaceship.

Cut out line of shamrock with tissue, cellophane, or construction paper. Put next to window. Green or yellow works good.
