Start Where You Are

I’m not waiting until next month. I’m starting now.

This is a challenge for me as much as for anyone reading along. Start (or restart – just don’t give up) where you are, with what you already have.

What’s Coming

My daily non-negotiables: movement (usually my bike and my rebounder), a smoothie, and my vitamins and supplements.

  • Monday: Home Gym Monday, one piece of equipment and how I use it
  • Tuesday: Hydration Tuesday, one infused water
  • Wednesday: Use It Up Wednesday, checking the fridge for what needs to be used up
  • Thursday: Meal Plan Thursday, planning the week’s meals and maybe shopping
  • Friday: Friday Finds, what I found shopping and the podcast or audiobook I listened to
  • Saturday: Prep Saturday, batch juicing and meal prep
  • Sunday: Self-Care Sunday, one self-care thing and a check-in on how my week went

Today’s Movement

My movement will be my Barwing bike and my rebounder. I do enjoy them.

Today’s Smoothie

  • Lavish Leaf from Queen of Greens (sweet and baby green leaf lettuce), most of an 8-ounce container
  • Kirkland Triple Berry (raspberries, blueberries and blackberries), plus organic strawberries
  • Peaches
  • Chia seeds
  • Coconut milk

I didn’t measure the ingredients but just tasted it along the way to see what I felt it needed.

Leaf lettuce is mostly water and has vitamins A and K. The berries add vitamin C, fiber and antioxidants. Peaches add natural sweetness and a little more vitamin C. Chia seeds add fiber and omega-3s, and coconut milk makes it creamy.

What’s one small thing you can start or restart today, using what you already have?
