Brush Yourself Off
When you’ve fallen off the wagon, you get up, brush yourself off and get back on. That is what I’m doing – getting back on the wagon. I’ve had a rough few days but I am trying to get back on.
This juice has celery, leaf lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumbers.
The juice is basically the tomatoes and leaf lettuce I hadn’t finished from my last trip to the farm stand as well as celery from Whole Foods Market and cucumbers I bought today at the Royal Oak Farmer’s Market. I got quite a few cucumbers because I chose the seconds – they just have to be used quicker than you might normally use them. The cukes I juiced today felt a bit more ‘second’ than the others.
Royal Oak Farmer’s Market is open year round. One of the vendors had these Cherry Bomb Peppers that I thought were very pretty to look at.
The farm stand is starting to wind down (they close October 31) so I purchased a basket full of red peppers because I really like them. I picked up some freezer bags from the dollar store as I know there is no way I can use them all up before they begin to go bad. I have 3 freezer bags full of red peppers as well as a few in the refrigerator for the week.
This is my Day 11 of 31 Days of Juicing. It is part of the #write31days challenge. To read all the posts, come back to the first page where I’ll link up after I’ve posted.

I tried a juice fast once and lasted 8 hours. I needed to chew lol.

I wish you all of the best on your juicing cleanse. I do substitute a meal with a home made juice occasionally but never even considered juicing for 31 days.
Enjoy the weekend!

I am visiting from the UBC. Well I can’t say I have ever tried juicing. However, my mom bought our family a Bullet one year and my sons made straight lemon juice, which they tricked my daughter into drinking. It made it to where I could never look at juicing the same again. I have to say I do love farmers markets. Two years ago, we moved from the western part of PA to the central part of PA. This year we found several Amish markets/stores to shop at and I love them. It is wonderful to be able to buy the fresh fruit and vegetables. I feel like I am getting so much more for my money. Enjoy your juicing.

I love fresh squeezed lemon on a salad instead of bottled salad dressing that is full of things a body doesn’t need. I have not been to an Amish market but hope to do so next summer as there isn’t one nearby.
