April Fool’s Day Poems

I got up this morning and laced my hair, ran a comb through my shoes, shook hands with the chair.
Brought in the newspaper, proceeded to eat the food pages and funnies which tickled my feet.
I patted the school bus and boarded a mule – or haven’t your guessed yet?
