Vegetables by Beatrix Potter
A carrot has a green fringed top;
A beet is royal red;
And lettuces are curious
All curled and run to head.
Some beans have strings to tie them on,
And what is still more queer,
Ripe corn is nothing more or less
Than one enormous ear!
